Georgia man arrested for trying to sell uranium for $2 million

Georgia State Security Service employees arrested a man who was trying to sell a radioactive substance for two million dollars. This was reported in the press service of the department.

Experts found uranium in the seized material. According to the investigation, the attacker planned to sell the radioactive substance in the town of Poti. For this, he risks up to ten years in prison. A criminal case has been opened.

Recall that in December last year, British border guards found a package containing traces of uranium at Heathrow airport. According to the police, the amount of contaminated material “was extremely low”.
