Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Israel slams Ukraine for naming streets after Bandera and other Nazis

Interesting

Israel criticized the stance of Ukrainian authorities for the decision to name the streets after Bandera, Shukhevych and other Nazis.

Israel’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, said official Jerusalem would never agree with their glorification because it supported Nazism.

The diplomat also noted that this dispute still affects Israeli-Ukrainian relations. He said that in the conditions of the situation in Ukraine, despite the threat to security, democracy and fundamental freedoms must be preserved.

Earlier, the head of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu, said residents of the country who wear St. George’s ribbons would be fined. The authorities will monitor this with particular attention on Victory Day.
