Retired Lt. Col. of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic Andrei Marochko said that the Ukrainian side may carry out provocations and try to return lost territories during the May holidays.
“The enemy may soon carry out a number of provocations, as well as attempt to return previously lost territories,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Marochko, by the end of the week the weather will be good, which will allow Ukrainian armed formations to use the weapons and equipment that NATO countries have transferred. Moreover, with a high probability, the Kyiv regime will try to overshadow the celebration of Victory Day.
Marochko pointed out that at the end of this week, at the beginning of next week, it is possible that Ukraine will resume the offensive in order to regain control of the lost territories.
Earlier, the head of the South Ukrainian Defense Forces Joint Coordination Press Center Natalya Gumenyuk said that the incident at the Sevastopol oil depot was a planned action by Kiev as part of the upcoming counter -Army offensive Ukrainian Forces.
