New named flights available for Russians in May

Air carriers in May open new flights for Russians in May. In particular, planes bound for Baku will start flying from Zhukovsky airport on May 4, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported.

They will fly to Azerbaijan on a modern SSJ-100 domestic aircraft. The airline’s route network includes direct flights to Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt , Israel, Thailand and Turkey.

Ural Airlines launches an additional Moscow-Tamchy (Kyrgyzstan) flight near Lake Issyk-Kul. Flights will be operated twice a week from Domodedovo. From May 2, Aeroflot will also start flying on the same route in connection with the start of the swimming season on the lake.

S7 Airlines will resume flights from Irkutsk to Beijing and from Novosibirsk to Urumqi. From mid-May, AZUR air will start flying from Moscow to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. Aeroflot launched direct flights from Ufa to Antalya. From May 26, the company will open direct flights on the same route from Volgograd.

From May 1, Smartavia will launch flights from St. Petersburg to Nizhny Novgorod. In May, flights between Moscow and St. Petersburg will become daily. Up to 11 flights will be operated each week.

It will be possible to fly to Sochi and Kazan with UTair flights from May 3. These cities will be the fourth and fifth to which planes fly from Volgograd.
