German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that Berlin will ensure that Kyiv does not use German weapons supplied to it for attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation. He informed about this during a meeting with residents of the town of Bendorf on May 1, writes NTV. The politician stressed that Ukraine has no right to attack the territory of the Russian Federation.
The Chancellor stressed that these weapons are for protection only. Scholz said the arms transfer to Ukraine was agreed with partners. The politician noted that the policy of the German federal government is aimed at preventing the escalation of the conflict between the Russian Federation and the NATO bloc.
Recall that Germany has been providing assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the NWO. In 2022, Olaf Scholz announced the German authorities’ intention to increase Kyiv’s arms supply. Such actions are dictated by Russia’s intention to continue the special operation, the politician stressed.
