An SBU agent and his accomplice were detained in the Kherson region for collecting data on the RF armed forces

Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia arrested an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and his accomplice in the Kherson region, who were collecting information on the deployment and movement of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This was reported in the Department’s Public Relations Center.

State security authorities noted that the information they gathered was used to strike Russian troop positions.

It should be noted that criminal proceedings have been initiated against Ukrainian citizens detained under Art. 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Espionage”), a coercive measure in the form of detention was chosen. Detained Ukrainians risk up to 20 years in prison.

Earlier, photos of a Ukrainian pilot detained by the FSB, who made an emergency landing of a light aircraft near Bryansk, were published. The Ukrainian pilot was carrying small arms, ammunition and body armor.
