Because of the crisis.. The Lebanese are looking for means of subsistence outside their specialties

From a suffocating human life crisis to an economic crisis that robs the university degrees and the dreams of young people in Lebanon.. where many of them resort to changing professions, after the deterioration of living conditions and the loss of national currency of its value against the US dollar.

Some university graduates from all disciplines are looking for alternative jobs that generate better incomes. Among them, George Al-Sheikh, a 30-year-old Lebanese with a degree in civil engineering, forced to change his specialty and embark on a new experience of making the bouzouki, a popular musical instrument quite similar to the oud. , in order to get money.

George Al-Sheikh tells his story with his new experience, saying: “When the crisis unfolded in 2019. The financial income for education became low, apart from Corona virus, apart from the first days of the revolution. It became a knee- Jerk.. The stability that the students were performing decreased. At that time, I made the decision to degrade us, which we consider bold. Or reckless. At the world time, if there is someone with him like a dollar, he works among them in banking or speculation.

And the young Lebanese added: “I decided this year, I have a dollar with me. I want to buy several, and I want to start a new project, so I completely changed direction.”

Making a machine takes about forty days of work, after which the sheikh keeps these machines for ten days, to test and examine them before delivering them to customers.

George Al-Sheikh says: “I would like to talk about me (me) as a musician… originally a flute player… I studied civil engineering and did not work as a civil engineer , but I’m working on my professional career in engineering (but with the bouzouki).”

Thus, the state of recession in Lebanon encourages the search for a second job or other occupations to try to meet the needs of life.
