Indore. A major accident took place on Tuesday evening in Banganga police station area of ​​the city. Here, while landing on the bridge, a crane crushed two bikes going in front. Four bike riders died in this accident. The dead include a woman, a six-year-old child and two men. Another 40-year-old woman has been injured. His leg is broken. He has been admitted to Aurobindo Hospital in critical condition. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the accident.

Banganga police station in-charge Rajendra Soni told that the incident took place on Tuesday evening at around 6 pm. The crane was descending from Banganga Bridge towards Saver Road and bikes were moving in front of it. The situation is not yet clear about how the crane climbed onto the bike riders. Information has come to us that four people have been crushed by the crane and they are buried under the crane. Four dead bodies have been sent for postmortem and one injured woman to Aurobindo Hospital. Due to the accident, there was a long jam on both sides of the Banganga Bridge, which was opened by the police after a lot of effort.

He told that two people among the dead have been identified as Ritesh (16) son of Dinesh, resident of Kaveri Nagar and six-year-old boy Sharad, son of Dinesh. Both Ritesh and Sharad are real brothers. Apart from these, a relative Raj has died. All of them were coming from a wedding program riding on the same bike. Raj’s hands were covered with henna and his name was written in it. He was identified with that. All of them were residents of Kalidevi-Jhabua and Double Chowki. At the same time, 40-year-old Sharda’s wife Dinesh resident of Kaveri Nagar was seriously injured.

Apart from these, a person named Sunil Parmar has died. He used to work in a factory. Was returning after finishing duty. Then he became a victim of an accident.

Additional Collector Ajay Dev Sharma said that prima facie information has come to the fore that the brake of the crane had failed. His driver has been detained. Crane was following the bus and went out of control climbing onto two bikes.

Through a tweet, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the untimely demise of citizens in a road accident in Banganga police station area of ​​Indore. He has prayed to God to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear the loss. Chief Minister Chouhan has wished speedy recovery of the injured.
