Russia wants to respect the grain agreement

Russia wants to comply with the grain agreement and continues to contact in this regard, but Moscow believes that the prospects of the grain agreement do not inspire optimism. This was stated by the Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“We want the terms of this agreement to be respected, so that the agreements that were made a long time ago, even when this agreement was activated,” he told reporters.

Moreover, Peskov stressed that Russia would not do anything that could be against its interests.

The day before, the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Mevlut Cavusoglu, had said that the prospect of extending the grain agreement was directly linked to meeting Russia’s demands.
