Two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles targeting the Kremlin were disabled using radar warfare systems. This was reported in the press service of the Russian President. It is noteworthy that it was possible to prevent the strike thanks to timely measures taken by specialists of the special services and the army.

“As a result of their fall and the scattering of fragments on the territory of the Kremlin, there were no casualties or material damage,” the official statement said.

Remember that the Ukrainian nationalists tried to attack tonight. The Russian president was not injured, he was not in the Kremlin. According to Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday, Vladimir Putin works in a residence near Moscow in Novo-Ogaryovo.

The Kremlin considers the incident a planned terrorist act and an attack on the president. The presidential press service added that the Russian Federation reserves the right to retaliate.

Previously, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin banned the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles in Moscow. The only exceptions are drones, which are used by decision of public authorities.

In addition, Alexander Khinshtein, head of the Russian Federation State Duma Information Policy Committee, said the attack on the Kremlin requires immediate political and legislative decisions.

According to the MP, a bill has been prepared regarding unmanned vehicles. Until now, the use of drones and the means to counter them have not been regulated in any way from the point of view of the law.
