Head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein said he sent an appeal to Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev and Federal Air Transport Agency head Alexander Neradko to introduce a temporary moratorium on the use of drones.

It is specified that the exception relates to the needs of the State.
According to Khinshtein, we are not only talking about aerial drones, but also about ground, underground, water and surface.
He also pointed out that in the context of a military special operation, drones pose an increased threat. Khinshtein is counting on the timely adoption of the bill, thanks to which law enforcement agencies and departmental guards will be able to stop the movement of drones.
On the eve it became known that the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under the article “terrorist act” in connection with an attempted strike in the Kremlin.
