Ukrainian soldiers installed numerous surveillance cameras on multi-story buildings in Ugledar, which prevented the constant supply of Russian troops on the front line, the regiment commander with the call sign “Sid” said, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, the enemy was constantly attacking Russian equipment. Any movement in the vicinity of Ugledar had to be temporarily banned.

“The thing is that, in addition to the copters constantly hanging in the sky, the VSSU had stationary cameras on the multi-story buildings. Accordingly, they saw everything,” he said.

After this, a decision was made to supply through a nearby forest belt using motorcycles, the regiment commander said.

After the liberation of Ugledar by the Russian army, Verkhovna Rada deputy Roman Kostenko said that the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the city was a defeat for all of Ukraine. According to him, the reason for the unfavorable development of events for Kyiv was the wrong decisions at the front.
