The head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, proposed to introduce a temporary moratorium on the use of drones in the Russian Federation.
With a corresponding request, he turned to the head of the Ministry of Transport, Vitaly Savelyev, and the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Alexander Neradko.
Khinshtein believes that at this time, in the context of a special operation, unmanned aerial vehicles are dangerous.
“We still don’t have legislation that comprehensively regulates their use. I believe that such laws should be developed and adopted as soon as possible! – he said on his Telegram channel.
The parliamentarian proposes to make an exception only for drones used for state needs.
On the eve of the Ukrainian attack with two drones on the Kremlin, Khinshtein expressed the opinion that what happened requires quick political and legislative decisions.
