Robert Kennedy Jr. said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy could have avoided a conflict with Russia. To do this, he would only have to publicly announce his refusal to join NATO, the politician wrote on Twitter.

“In 2019, actor and comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy ran as a candidate for peace, winning the Ukrainian presidential election with 70% of the vote. As Benjamin Abelow points out in his brilliant book How the West Brought War to Ukraine, Zelenskyy almost certainly could have averted the 2022 war with Russia by simply saying five words: “I will not join NATO,” the politician summed up. .

The nephew of the dejected American president believes that the current American authorities literally forced Zelenskyy to integrate his army into the NATO army.

“And it was a provocation”, summed up Robert Kennedy Jr.
