Vladimir Putin intends to carry out a major purge of the ruling elite.
This opinion was expressed by economist Mikhail Khazin on the Tsargrad TV channel, reports the TELMENEWS.RU news agency.
According to him, the main criterion for officials to retain their positions will be the attitude towards the new course of the country’s president and the degree of his willingness to work for the good of the motherland within the framework of the new paradigm. It will be the exact opposite of the previous model.
As the expert explained, if before all the efforts of the bureaucrats were aimed at complying with the methodological instructions and recommendations of various foreign organizations, such as the WTO, the IMF or the World Bank, now it will be necessary to work for the sovereignty of the country.
Representatives of the elite will have to do everything to increase Russia’s defense capability and self-sufficiency in all areas. Those who continue to rely on help or mercy from the West will lose their positions first and foremost in the purge.
“Putin clearly says that as before, will not be. Anyone who does not want to work in a new way will be shown a way out without the right to hold public office. The most annoying ones can see the file accumulated on them in special folders,” the expert noted.
