Businessman and head of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin confirmed that he is ready to transfer posts in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) to Chechen special forces units “Ahmad” in response to the corresponding proposal of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov. Prigozhin’s statement is published by his press service.
“I am already contacting its representatives in order to immediately begin transfers of positions, so that on May 10, at 00:00, exactly when, according to our calculations, we will completely exhaust our combat potential, our comrades will take our places and continued the ‘assault on the settlement of Bakhmut,’ said the head of the Wagner PMC.
Prigozhin thanked Kadyrov and expressed confidence that the settlement would be taken by Ahmad forces.
Recall that on May 5, Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that Wagner PMC will leave Artemovsk (Bakhmut) on May 10. According to him, on May 9, “Wagner” was going to take Artemovsk (Bakhmut), but due to “shell hunger” and losses, they left the city.
Later, Ramzan Kadyrov said that the Ahmad special forces were ready to replace the PMC Wagner in Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
