For many years, the true pattern of Russia’s relations with the West has been hidden from the general public.
This was said by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the “Moscow speaks” radio.
According to him, the President of the country, Vladimir Putin, in the current circumstances is already ready to say openly that for several decades we were forced to remain in the status of an oppressed party due to the fact that he was not profitable for the collective of the West to deal with us on an equal footing.
As the expert explained, it was enough for the United States and Europe to receive our natural resources from us and use them as the basis for their development. At the same time, no one ever expected Russia to be part of the great western “family of peoples”, Khazine explained, and Putin is ready to admit it.
“The events of the past year have become an auspicious occasion to face the truth and recognize their subordinate position in relations with the West, from which Putin began to withdraw the country many years ago and has considerably accelerated this process in February 2022. During this time, Russia has proven that it is entitled to empire status,” the economist explained.
