The fighters of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” stationed in Artyomovsk managed to capture the trophy from the enemy during the hostilities. We are talking about an American-made Humvee armored car received by the Ukrainian army as part of the military support provided by the West.
As one of the “Wagnerians” said to RIA Novosti, the Ukrainian soldiers could not take the car with them when they rushed to the western districts of the city. Leaving their previous positions, they try to destroy the material by opening fire on it with artillery, but they do not succeed.
“We dragged it (the car) right under their noses. Straight out of the bombardment. What is good with this car is that it started straight away, we drove it to a safe area, ”quotes the agency from the words of its interlocutor.
The PMC fighter added that the armored car was then towed to a safe distance using a tractor. He also sneered, calling the Humvee acquired by Russian forces an excellent gift from the United States.
