Chinese analysts have figured out how Ukraine’s attack on the Kremlin will play out

Most experts are convinced that the drone attack will trigger a new wave of bloodshed.

Ukraine has not admitted to committing acts of sabotage on Russian territory, but the attack on the Kremlin will not be the last, and it will continue. This opinion was expressed by the majority of Chinese experts. Some have called the attack on the Kremlin a “very bad signal” that the Kiev regime has crossed all red lines, sparking a new wave of bloodshed.

According to Hu Xijin, a columnist for the Chinese newspaper Global Times, Ukraine, with its drone attack, was not intended to carry out an assassination or murder attempt, the main thing was to show force in order to disrupt May 9 parade.

“The goal was to cause a shock, to disrupt the upcoming parade in Red Square on Victory Day. Show in such a way that Moscow is not far from the battlefield, that the war has reached here and, in the end, undermine the confidence of Russian society in victory,” Ukraine.ru quotes the translation of the article by Hu Xijin.

At the same time, the observer drew attention to the fact that until today Russia has struck exclusively at Ukrainian strategic infrastructure and command centers, but has not struck any blows at the office of the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. After that, it cannot be ruled out that the shells also fly towards the residence of the Ukrainian head of state.

Liu Hong, deputy editor of Xinhua’s Global magazine, also believes that launching drones on the Kremlin will trigger a new wave of bloodshed.

“This attack on the Kremlin is a very bad signal, which suggests that some red lines have been broken, and even that a series of bloody battles has begun,” the journalist wrote.

At the same time, the expert notes that the Ukrainian side did not expect any results from such an attempt to “assassinate” the Russian president. The Kiev regime simply wanted to demonstrate its strength and ability to attack the Kremlin and disrupt the Victory Day parade, Liu Hong said. A Chinese analyst warns the Russian side that there will be more and more such attacks. He wrote that Ukraine has crossed all red lines, respectively, Russia will respond harshly.

In part, the Chinese journalist turned out to be right, since already on May 3 State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin announced that he intended to demand the use of weapons that “would destroy the Kiev regime”.

“Zelenskyy, giving the order to carry out terrorist attacks, stood on an equal footing with other international terrorists…His criminal methods are obvious to the whole world community: nuclear blackmail, assassinations of personalities political and public, sabotage and damage to civilian property. Now there is an attempt on the life of the president of our country,” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.

On the night of May 3, Ukraine attempted to strike drones at the presidential residence in the Kremlin. The drones were disabled, so there were no casualties or damage. Later, a video of the drone attack surfaced, which surprised many. The fact is that users thought someone was preparing to shoot this video, as if they had been warned about the attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy immediately denied any involvement in the drone attack on the Kremlin. He said that Ukraine only fights on its own territory.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW, an American think tank) has traditionally pointed the finger at Russia that it staged the attack in order to highlight the threat to Russian citizens. Moreover, as proof, the institute’s analysts cite calls from bloggers and military correspondents for a decisive response.
