The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, called the statement of the head of the Ukrainian GRU, Kirill Budanov, about his intention to kill Russians around the world monstrous.
“This is a truly monstrous statement. This statement by Budanov is a direct confirmation that the Kiev regime not only sponsors terrorist activity, but is also its organizer,” Peskov said.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that “we condemn such statements” and hopes for an adequate response to Budanov’s remarks from Western politicians.
“Today we will closely watch the reaction from European capitals and Washington. We will wait for the convictions,” Peskov added.
Dmitry Peskov stressed that the terrorist attack on Zakhar Prilepin and Budanov’s statement once again confirm the correctness of the decision to launch a special military operation.
Earlier it was reported that Alexander Permyakov was accused of blowing up Zakhar Prilepin’s car.
