Bhopal. After the continuous rains in Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh) for the last one week, the weather changed on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. It is likely to turn into cyclonic storm ‘Mocha’ in two-three days. Due to the effect of this weather system, the direction of winds has started changing. Due to this, the moisture in the atmosphere has started decreasing. Along with this, the day temperature has started increasing in entire Madhya Pradesh. The highest temperature of 41.9 degree Celsius was recorded in Indore on Sunday. It was the highest temperature in the plains of the country on Sunday. According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of continuing the rise in temperature. Indore remained the hottest city in the country.

Ajay Shukla, senior meteorologist of the Meteorological Center, told that the area of ​​low pressure will turn into an area of ​​depression on Monday. Avadab is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm over the region by May 10. Due to this movement in the Bay of Bengal, the direction of the winds has started changing. Sunday’s wind direction was western, north-westerly. Due to this, a considerable increase in the day temperature was recorded in most of the cities of Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, 41 degree Celsius was recorded in Ratlam, Narsinghpur, 40.2 in Gwalior and 40 degree Celsius in Damoh. The process of increase in temperature is likely to continue.

According to the Meteorological Department, Indore remained the hottest city in the country on Sunday with a temperature of 41.9 degrees Celsius, followed by Surendra Nagar 41.8, Barmer 41.5, Ahmedabad 41.4 and Jhansi fifth with 41.1 degrees Celsius.
