At least 12 people were victims of the Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip, and another 20 people were injured in varying degrees of seriousness. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported operational information on the aftermath of the Israel Defense Forces attack.
“The death toll has risen to 12 and the number of injured has reached 20,” RIA Novosti quotes a statement from the Palestinian side.
Earlier it was reported that nine people were victims of the Israeli Air Force attack on the Gaza Strip.
Recall that among the dead is a Russian citizen Jamal Abu Haswan, a rocket shelled his house, his wife and son were killed along with the Russian.
Analysts believe that a further escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict could affect the US election campaign.
