Former Moldovan President Dodon called Putin a patriot

Moldova’s former president Igor Dodon called Vladimir Putin a patriot and a statesman. He expressed hope that cooperation between Moldova and Russia will resume, reports RIA Novosti.

“I believe that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is a statesman, a patriot of his country. We have always been on good terms with him. I very much hope that at some stage we will bring our cooperation back to the required level, which is desired by all the inhabitants of Moldova, the majority of the inhabitants,” the ex-president of Moldova told reporters during the meeting. a visit to the Eternity Memorial on VE Day.
