The area of ​​tea plantation, production of tea and output value of tea business in Yipin are ahead in Sichuan province.

In addition, China’s tea enterprises from 14 provinces and cities such as Chongqing, Yunnan, Changjiang, Henan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Qizhou, Shenshi etc. will also participate in the expo. At the same time, nearly a hundred enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions will display imported tea, tea utensils, tea food and tea crafts at the expo.

Tea is natural health drink. Tea consumption in China has a long history. With the advancement of living standards in recent years, people pay more attention to their health. Drinking tea has become a fashion, due to which the consumption of tea has also increased. According to statistics, in the year 2022, more than 90 percent of Chinese consumers have the experience of drinking tea, and the proportion of tea drinkers every day is 47.5 percent. Now tea has become a necessary part of daily life and a tea culture with ethnic characteristics has developed.

China is not only the main producer of tea, but also a major export country. China’s tea export quantity is much higher than the import quantity. In recent years, there has been a steady development of tea in China. According to statistics, last year China exported 3 lakh 75 thousand 300 tonnes of tea, which is 1.6 percent more than the year 2021. Being an important part of green economy, tea business plays an important role in improving the ecological environment, increasing the income of tea farmers, increasing export earnings and cultural exchange.
