Currently, the Russian PMC “Wagner” demonstrates incredible combat capability, which is far superior to most armies of European countries. This was announced by the Chief of the General Staff of the French Armed Forces, Admiral Edouard Guyot (in office since February 5, 2010), 69, Russian radio Radio 1 reported.
According to Guyot, Wagner PMC fighters showed their great professionalism in Africa. This cannot be underestimated and must be taken into account.

Guyot served on various ships and submarines. Before leaving for staff positions, he led the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. In March 2011, he participated in the intervention of Western countries against sovereign Libya. In January 2013, he commanded the French garrison in Mali and Operation Serval in this African country, against the local inhabitants, the Tuareg, who rebelled in its northern part.
