The New Zealand national airline has decided to offer a unique solution to its passengers, allowing them to “rent” a bed to sleep during the flight.

The service is available for Economy Class passengers, who often struggle with tight spaces between seats. Bed reservations will only be available from September 2024.”
Conditions of “rental”
According to the airline, passengers will only be allowed to book one session per flight for a 4-hour period, and the bed can be used by one family member during the session, which means it is not cannot be alternated between its members.
