Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot retaliated after Chief Minister Ashok Gehlaut accused the MLAs of Pilot faction of taking money from BJP leaders to topple the government at a program in Jodhpur on April 7. It seems that all is not well in the Congress party of the state. In fact, in the program of Jodhpur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlaut had said about Sachin Pilot’s MLAs that they took money from Union Home Minister Amit Shah to topple his government, but unable to topple the government, the said MLAs did not return the money in case the purpose was not met. Did it

The Chief Minister had said the second thing that his government was saved by the former Chief Minister of the state, Vasundhara Raje, saying that a popular government should not be toppled on the power of money and that is why his government could survive. Both these allegations of the Chief Minister were such that the BJP also had to refute them, but the former Deputy Chief Minister on Tuesday accused Ashok Gehlaut of saving Vasundhara Raje by holding a conference, saying that despite her one-day dharna, the Chief Minister had No action was ordered against. In fact, during the 2018 elections, Gehlot and Sachin Pilot accused Vasundhara of corruption.

But when the government was formed, neither any investigation nor any action was taken against Vasundhara Raje. That is why Sachin Pilot is alleging that Vasundhara saved Gehlaut and Gehlaut saved Vasundhara. Taking a jibe at the Chief Minister, Sachin’s statement that Ashok Gehlaut’s leader seems to be Vasundhara Raje and not Sonia Gandhi is a clear indication that the two leaders are in a race to bring each other down. The interesting thing is that the assembly elections are to be held in November 2023 itself and Congress leader Sachin Pilot is also leveling allegations of corruption and inefficiency against his own party’s government.

Pilot alleges the government that the youth are suffering a lot due to the leak of Rajasthan Public Service Commission question papers. What they mean to say is that the government is inefficient and corrupt, that’s why the Public Service Commission question papers are leaked and exams are postponed. The examinees are troubled by this. That is why on May 11, he will start a 125 kilometer long Jan Sangharsh Padyatra from Ajmer to Jaipur which will last for 5 days.

The truth is that this march is going to harm the Congress, but the question is, will Sachin get enough support so that he will be able to challenge Ashok Gehlot once again? It seems that the top leadership is not in a position to tease Ashok Gehlot, that is why there is very little hope of leadership change in this tenure. But this much is certain that such conflicts between Pilot and Gehlot can go on and the top leadership is constrained to watch this tension quietly, knowing that action against either of the two will mean Congress only. Harm. (sp)
