Thanks to the competition “Time to sing Fatyanov” (12+), held for the first time in Moscow, the songs of the famous poet Alexei Fatyanov will receive a new reading – talented young performers will present famous musical compositions.
Aleksey Fatyanov is an outstanding poet, songs based on his poems were performed in such legendary films as “Heavenly slug” (“Because we are pilots”), “Big Life” (“I dreamed of you for three years”), “Spring on Zarechnaya Street” (“When spring comes” Also, the songs of Alexei Fatyanov for the play “Wedding with a Dowry” (“I will not brag, my dear”), the composition “Where are you now, brother-soldiers” were widely known.
Many modern Russian stars have famous Fatyanov songs in their repertoire – Dmitry Malikov repeatedly performed “For three years I dreamed of you”, this song was also performed by Larisa Dolina in a duet with Nikolai Noskov, Vladimir Presnyakov, together with Kristina Orbakaite, together sang “On the porch”, Alexander Oleshko – “In the city garden” and others.

The youth competition will end in October 2023 with a gala concert featuring Russian stars. At the gala concert, in a solemn atmosphere, the winners of the competition will be awarded prizes, the winners will also receive an invitation in 2024 to perform at the annual Fatyanovo Poetry and Song Festival “Nightingales, Nightingales” in the homeland of the poet – in the city of Vyazniki, Vladimir region.
