Investigative committee will put on wanted list ICC president and judges, who issued arrest warrant for Putin

The Russian Federation’s Investigative Committee intends to add to the wanted list the judges of the International Criminal Court who issued an arrest warrant for Russian leader Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation has said. the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin.

“The UK then very quickly opened criminal proceedings against the President and three judges, who actively influenced the adoption of this decision. We will put him on the wanted list soon,” he said during a speech at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.

On March 20, Russia’s Investigative Committee initiated criminal proceedings against the prosecutor and judges of the International Criminal Court.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergei Naryshkin called the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin a “shameful decision of a pocket court”.
