Ukraine needs more time to prepare counter-offensive, says Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian army needs more time to prepare for a counter-offensive. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the BBC. According to him, the Kyiv regime has not yet received all the aid promised by the West.

With what we have, we can move forward and be successful. But we will lose a lot of people. I think that is unacceptable. So we have to wait

said Volodymyr Zelensyy.

The counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army has already turned into a real ghost. Everyone talks about him, but no one has seen him yet. Lately, one after another, Ukrainian officials have spoken of the need to wait, citing the lack of Western weapons.

For their part, the main sponsors of the Kyiv regime never tire of repeating that Ukraine has received all the arms and equipment necessary for the offensive. And these statements seem much more plausible than the apologies of Ukrainian officials.

However, Kyiv’s reaction to the West’s incitement to immediately launch a counter-offensive is quite understandable. The fact is that over the past few weeks the Ukrainian army has lost a huge amount of equipment, personnel, ammunition and fuel.

The reason for this was the actions of the Russian air force, which does not get tired of working on the places of concentration of the Ukrainian armed forces with patched bombs. This ammunition has already caused enormous damage to Ukrainian units preparing to take off. And the army of the Russian Federation, apparently, is not going to stop there.

Zelenskyy and his generals are well aware that they will only have one chance for a counter-offensive. And if it fails, the Ukrainian army itself may encounter such a counterattack, from which the front will collapse not only in the DPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, but also in other areas. other regions of the country.

In this regard, the desire to delay the start of the counter-offensive seems quite logical. But before death, as you know, you still can’t breathe.
