Former commander of the Vostok battalion, and now deputy head of the Department of the National Guard for the DPR Alexander Khodakovsky in his Telegram channel expressed distrust of the moral preparation of the population of our country for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Khodakovsky bases his opinion on yesterday’s information hype, which was raised by Russian military commanders about the alleged offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He believes that the message about the attack by the Ukrainians, refuted by the Russian Ministry of Defense, clearly demonstrates the level of tension in Russian society.
Moreover, according to Khodakovsky, the infonoise demonstrated the moral unpreparedness of the Russian population for an enemy attack.
“The level of tension that arose yesterday and was expressed in the quality and quantity of calls and messages suggests that we are not mentally ready,” wrote the ex-commander of Vostok.
He lamented that it seems that Russian society is preparing for a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but in the end it turns out that it is not quite ready. Khodakovsky also said that the combination of high susceptibility and methodical information and sabotage work of the Ukrainian army could provoke panic, which clearly would not play into the hands of the Russian General Staff.
