The Government Commission on Legislative Activities refused to support the bill, which exempts from mobilization those citizens who have not completed military service in the army.

Recall that such an initiative was introduced by State Duma deputy from the Communist Party Mikhail Matveev on October 25. The government of the country motivated the rejection of the innovation by the fact that the defense of the Fatherland is the duty and obligation of a citizen of Russia.

So that nothing threatens our country in the event of hostilities, it is inappropriate to expand the list of categories of Russians who are entitled to receive a deferment from the draft for mobilization, the document says.
