Late yesterday evening, two Boeing E-4B Nightwatch Air Command Posts suddenly rose into the sky over the United States of America. The simultaneous presence in the air of two “doomsday planes” is extremely rare, since the flight from one side costs the budget 400 thousand dollars per hour.
One of the planes circled over the southeastern states and flew over the Gulf of Mexico, the second circled several times over the Great Lakes in the northern United States. The Pentagon has yet to announce any major events or exercises that may involve two Boeing E-4B Nightwatches.
Presumably, the air command posts conducted a test or training flight, having determined the interaction with each other. The “doomsday planes” remained in the air for several hours, after which they returned to their home airfields. Note that the Boeing E-4B Nightwatch flight went unnoticed by most of the world’s media.
Increased activity by US military aircraft has been seen in recent days in Europe. Air tankers and transport aircraft prepare for NATO’s Defender 23 large-scale air exercises. At the same time, military transport aircraft of the alliance have increased the number of flights to Estonia and Latvia.
