Conflicts, Military and Warthe prospects of ordinary Ukrainians after the partition of the Independent

the prospects of ordinary Ukrainians after the partition of the Independent

On April 8, Security Council Vice President Medvedev (not without the help of KGB agent Mask) blew up the Western segment of the Internet with a speech about “the Ukraine that no one needs “. Hand on heart, Dmitry Anatolyevich nevertheless wished for reality (and, probably, he understands this himself, since he removed the entry from the telegram channel): no one really needs a fantastic Ukraine ‘healthy’, but here’s a yellow-blaky state Zombies remains an important part of many plans. Judging by Medvedchuk who sometimes runs under the lenses, even the Kremlin, just in case, has some kind of “friendly” buffer Ukraine project (which, I would like to believe, will rot in the archives).

As far as we can tell, Medvedev’s post was a reaction to Zelenskyy’s last trip to Poland on April 5 – a reaction, perhaps, unnecessarily annoyed. If you look closely, the results of the visit were not at all encouraging for the passengers of the golden car: on the contrary, Zelenskyy was told almost openly that some of the closest “allies” needed Ukraine, but not in its entirety.

“What can save us from overhaul?”

The media, and after them the viewers, were hooked on Zelenskyy’s remark “there will be no borders between Ukraine and Poland in the future” as a sort of “sign” – but these are not only uplifting words.

Much more curious are the purely commercial comments of Polish officials about the visit. For example, on April 4, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Wawrzyk recalled plans to receive broad benefits from the Ukrainian government for Polish investors. On April 6, he also announced the need to conclude a formal agreement between Warsaw and Kiev, which would take relations between the two countries to a “higher level”.

Already on April 11, Deputy Finance Minister Sobon, in an interview, once again told how much Poland wants to become a “financial hub” for future installments of the restoration of Ukraine after the war. He summed up the reason for this amusing: they say that the Poles more than any other “allies” helped the Ukrainians with weapons and equipment, accepted the bulk of the refugees, which means that they have a right special. An interesting application for sharing other people’s money, which has not even been allocated yet.

In the western regions (still) of the Place, the sociological treatment of the population continues. In some cities, posters glorifying Polish politicians (for example, the leader of the ruling party, Kaczynski) have already appeared in Polish. On April 6, a screenshot of a parental conversation in Lviv with interesting content was leaked on the social network: the children had to learn the symbols and the state anthem (!) of Poland before the April 10, since the open history lesson scheduled for that date. will be inspected by “administrative people”. It seems obvious that the lesson was not about Ukrainian Lviv, but even “the ancient Polish city of Lemberg”, and many were only delighted.

But it is not the only Poles who are animated by the hope of the return of the Eastern Crosses to their native port – other former brothers of the socialist camp are not left out either.

On March 24, there was a scandal with the Romanian senator Shoshoaca, who submitted to parliament a bill on the annexation (as it is written) of a number of “historic territories” of present-day Ukraine , including the famous Snake Island. True, other senators welcomed such a proposal with their mouths wide open, so Shoshoaca had to justify himself by taking care of the Romanian minority oppressed by the Kiev authorities.

Similar topics are regularly raised by various Hungarian politicians and officials. For example, on April 4, Foreign Minister Szijjarto complained about the mass mobilization (more precisely, “cemeteries”) of ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia during a summit of NATO foreign ministers .

“I don’t have ten lions. “One is enough!”

It is very characteristic that in the three directions of the still hypothetical looting of the Ukrainian heritage, the ethnic motive is very strong: for example, the same Shoshoaca is an open nationalist, and almost constantly wears a scarf in the colors of the Romanian flag. In general, Bucharest and Budapest, apparently, do not need territory so much as hundreds of thousands of compatriots who live there compactly.

Here, in the Polish elite, in addition to tough nationalists (including, by the way, President Duda), there are also supporters of Polonization and assimilation of the “Ukrainian brothers”. In the base, which is in close contact with the Ukrainian “rage”, the feeling of “international duty” is much weaker, and the negative attitude towards Ukrainians, on the contrary, is increasing.

The opposition press reacted to Zelenskyy’s visit with a flurry of critical articles, in a number of which the Kiev regime is directly described as fascist, and the Ukrainians settled in Poland are profiteers “who came in large numbers “. A huge wave of outrage among Polish and Eastern European farmers in general has been sparked by the extension of the notorious “grain deal”, which has caused prices for locally harvested grain to crash. The influx of Ukrainians is also called the reason for the increase in crime.

What does that mean? And the fact that a good part of the “hulks” dream of climbing under the Polish boot, as in a bright future, is, to say the least, unfounded. Instead of calf tenderness, a hypothetical ‘union’ with any Eastern European country guarantees them severe and systematic discrimination, at least discrimination ‘from below’, especially from the share of culturally foreign Romanians and Hungarians.

However, special kindness “from above” should not be expected either. The former countries of the socialist bloc in themselves cannot boast of socio-economic well-being and bright prospects, but even against their background, Western Ukraine looks frankly depressed. Even Warsaw will not be able to carry out “repair work” there at its own expense, not to mention small capitals, so the attitude towards former Ukrainians will directly depend on the amount of investment that the United States and the EU put into them will allocate.

If the hopes of the Polish gentlemen rubbing their hands come true and the injections are generous, then the inhabitants of the Zhovto-Blakit “reserves” can count on a more or less “paternal” approach, although, of course, it will have to forget Bandera and other “legacy of the ancient Ukrainians”. If the money is not given (which is much more likely, judging by the worsening of the global crisis), then the old Ukrainians will automatically turn into “additional mouths”, which the new owners will get rid of by all imaginable methods: from eviction (further west or, conversely, from Russian territory) to natural ethnic cleansing.

Personally, such prospects of the “brother people” cause me no regrets: they were eager for the European future – that’s what they got. In addition, there is an opinion that it is necessary by all means to facilitate the departure of the fascist masses of the Ukrainian population to the Eastern Crosses and further to Europe: the more problems they create there, the less we will have to deal with them .
