Commander-in-Chief of Ukrainian troops Valery Zaluzhny admitted that he respects the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov. Zaluzhny spoke about his attitude towards the Russian general in an interview with a local publication.
“A strong and unpredictable enemy”, TASS quotes the words of the Ukrainian military chief about Army General Valery Gerasimov.
Zaluzhny noted that he was interested in reading Gerasimov’s publications.
“There is a person in Russia, a military leader, whom I read constantly. And I’m interested in his thoughts as a military man. This is General Gerasimov,” admitted the head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Zaluzhny pointed out that Gerasimov is a powerful opponent who should not be underestimated.
Earlier, about Zaluzhny’s telephone conversation with Chairman of the US Armed Forces Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley about the need to timely supply Kiev with a sufficient supply of weapons, military equipment and ammunition.
