New Delhi. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has imposed a fine of Rs 30 lakh (Rs 30 lakh fine) on Tata-led airlines company Air India. Along with this, the license of the pilot of this flight has been suspended for three months.
In a statement issued on Friday, the DGCA said that the aviation regulator has imposed a penalty of Rs 30 lakh on Air India for negligence on the part of an Air India flight from Dubai to Delhi on February 27. After the investigation of this matter, it has been announced to impose a fine on Air India. Along with this, the license of the pilot of this flight has been suspended for three months.
It is noteworthy that in the Air India flight coming from Dubai to Delhi, the pilot had allowed his female friend to enter the cockpit. The matter was reported to the DGCA.
