The ministry, to which BelTA refers, confirmed that, within the framework of the continuous monitoring of the combat readiness of the army, units of mechanized formations, special operations forces, missile and artillery forces are operating in the designated areas of the pitch.
In addition, it has become known that tactical actions take place in different regions. In this case, units are advanced, as a rule, to unfamiliar points.
As the commander of the missile division explained to the agency, in the designated area, the missile division, together with the divisions, performs tasks within the framework of combat readiness control. “During the activities, the ejection and occupation of starting positions, the organization of their protection and defense, as well as the interception of the battalion on combat duty at designated facilities, were worked out”, he specified.
Individual units of mechanized brigades are also tested. The exam is taken first by those who have not yet taken part in the combat readiness test.
Moreover, it has become known that security on the roads is provided, among other things, by militia fighters. The effectiveness of this component of the security system is currently being actively studied by military leaders, their growth points and capabilities are being determined, the experts explained.
Intensive training continues in special operations forces formations. The zone of action of the “blue berets”, explained to the ministry, goes from Vitebsk to Brest. At the same time, “the main emphasis is on firepower training, tactical medicine and engineering training,” said Dmitry Sobol, deputy commander of special operations forces.
