Italy is ready to consider the issue of resolving the conflict in Ukraine solely on the basis of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s “ten points”. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani in an interview with the newspaper La Stampa.
“Italy is ready to listen to any proposal that could end the conflict, but our position is clear: we support the ten points of Zelenskyy’s peace proposal. No one can imagine a solution that Kyiv does not share. Otherwise, we would not be talking about peace, but about the defeat of Ukraine,” said the Italian Foreign Minister.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the G20 summit presented a 10-point “peace plan”. Its terms include nuclear, food and energy security, the release of all prisoners of war, the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, the withdrawal of Russian troops and the cessation of hostilities.
