Moscow categorically rejects and is extremely disappointed with the statements of the Turkish opposition on Russian interference in the presidential elections of the republic. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
He commented on the statement by the leader of the opposition Republican People’s Party, Kemal Kılıçdaroglu.
“The Leader of the Opposition said he had evidence of Russian interference. He still hasn’t presented it. We’re sure he won’t be able to because it doesn’t actually exist,” the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation told TASS.
Dmitry Peskov added that “it’s out of the question”. In addition, the Kremlin spokesman stressed: Russia will respect the choice of Turkish citizens.
