Residents of the central region of Russia expect warming in the second half of next week, thermometers will rise to +25 degrees. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
“On Wednesday it will be 18-23 degrees, and on Thursday the temperature will be around 20-25 degrees,” Vilfand said.
He noted that these indicators will exceed the climate norm by 1-2 degrees. Vilfand added that during this period in the northern capital of Russia, St. Petersburg, it will be 1-2 degrees warmer than in Moscow.
Earlier there was information about the hottest possible summer in Russia for the past 150 years. However, meteorologist Yevgeny Tishkovets estimates that the weather will be moderate and no major deviations from the norm are expected. He added that he hadn’t seen any bright red or maroon spots on the map that would signal extraordinary weather this year.
