Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed doubts about former US President Donald Trump’s ability to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He believes in looking at the facts in such cases, and the facts say otherwise.
“I want to remind you that Trump, anyway, was the president. I had a meeting, I was already president at the time. I’m not sure that he was deeply involved in this problem, however, he did not solve this problem, ”quotes TASS Zelenskyy.
At the same time, he noted that he didn’t blame Trump for anything and couldn’t add anything on whether the American politician could really help. Nor did Zelenskyy make a prediction about who the next US president will be.
Previously, Donald Trump promised to resolve the conflict in Ukraine “soon after” he becomes president. He also said that only he was able to prevent World War III, which could arise due to the transfer of Western tanks to Kyiv.
