Actor Vladimir Kuznetsov dies at 79

At the age of 80, Soviet and Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Kuznetsov died. informed Lenkom Theater website.

The cause of the actor’s death is not known.

Vladimir Kuznetsov was born on October 3, 1943 in the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region. In Moscow, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, after which he came to work at the Lenkom Theater, on whose stage he appeared for 45 years – from 1969 to 2014.

“A bright and charismatic actor was remembered by the audience for many roles, and not only the main ones, in the cinema, and of course – on the Lenkom stage. Vladimir Alekseevich took part in the iconic performances of our theater led by Mark Zakharov, Andrei Tarkovsky and others: The Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta (Joaquin Murieta, Three-Fingers), Til, Avtograd-XXI, Hamlet, Optimistic Tragedy “,”Cruel Intentions,” “Juno and Avos,” “Royal Games,” etc.,” reads the post on Lenkom’s website.

Vladimir Kuznetsov starred in more than 40 films and TV series. Among his most famous cinematographic works are A feast during the plague (1974), Juno and Avos (1983), Battle for Moscow (miniseries, 1985), Silent Investigation (1986), Tragedy 20 -th century “(television series , 1993-1994),” 24 hours “(2000),” Detectives “(2001-2005), “Rublyovka live “(TV series, 2005),” Nine Lives of Nestor Makhno “(TV series, 2006), “Give to the youth!” (2009-2013), “The last article of a journalist” (2016), “The Janissaries” (TV series, 2020), “Berenstein” (2021), remember Kommersant Edition.

The farewell to Vladimir Kuznetsov will take place on May 16 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral hall of the Botkin Hospital.
