Russia launched an air operation to destroy ammunition depots and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to suppress the counteroffensive. This was stated by the staff of the American Institute for the Study of War.
Having studied the situation on the line of contact, analysts noticed that the RF Armed Forces have activated in the airspace. Drones and UAVs strike at the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Since April 19, Russian troops have launched at least 10 series of strikes throughout Ukraine, especially in rear areas,” military experts report.
The attacks led to the destruction of a supply depot in Khmelnytsky and places of accumulation of the Ukrainian army and equipment in the region of Ternopil and Petropavlovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, reports Moscow’s comsomolets .
The Institute came to the conclusion that air strikes are carried out to reduce the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to take offensive actions.
