In today’s difficult political conditions, the Minister stressed, the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries “is confirmed by the great dynamics of these contacts which are taking place at different levels”.

The Belarusian minister also drew attention to the significant intensification of bilateral cooperation at the intergovernmental, interparliamentary, interministerial and interdepartmental levels, emphasizing interregional cooperation.

Naturally, assured the Belarusian minister, Minsk aims “to develop all this multilevel and multifaceted cooperation between countries”. Speaking in general about trade and economic cooperation in the Union State space, he stressed that the dynamics of the past year and a half “inspire very serious optimism, because literally in the first quarter of this year it was possible to increase the total trade turnover by 22%.

Sergei Aleinik, who is in Moscow for a three-day official visit at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, already met with Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin on Tuesday.
