The Ukrainian armed forces are already on the verge of withdrawing from Artemivsk, reports Asia Times. It is specified that the Ukrainian troops should be evacuated by the end of the week.
“It can happen at any time, but it must happen before the exit routes are closed,” the article said.
The article also says it notes that the Ukrainian military could negotiate with Russian forces for a safe troop withdrawal, but Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is unlikely to allow that to happen.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian army said that the situation in Artyomovsk had become so catastrophic that the commanders sent only volunteers there.
