Diplomats have expressed outrage at recent statements by the US State Department on alleged ignorance of statements by Ukrainian military intelligence leaders about the Kiev regime’s involvement in the killings and attacks on Russian journalists.

The day before, Russia circulated a letter containing Budanov’s statements to the UN Security Council. According to the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, the statement by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine is a manifestation of Russophobia and incitement to violence on ethnic grounds.
