Take action against those who keep public applications pending in offices: Chief Minister

– 76 percent resolution in Chief Minister’s public service campaign in the state

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that strict action will be taken against the officials keeping the general public applications pending in the office. Chief Minister Public Service Campaign has been started only to solve the problems of the citizens. Surprise inspection of the offices by the senior officers should be done to see whether the applications of the public have not been buried in the papers. Government servants who delay in redressal will be punished. Divisional commissioners should get daily information about disposal of applications being made under Chief Minister’s Public Service Campaign in the districts of their division. This campaign is a great sacrifice. Pending works should be brought to zero by solving 100 percent problems of the public.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the work being done in the state under the public service campaign through video conferencing from his residence office Samatva Bhawan on Wednesday late evening. He inquired about the status of redressal of public applications in districts and divisions and gave instructions after discussing with the commissioner and collector.

It was told in the meeting that out of 25 lakh 27 thousand applications received in seven days in the second phase of Chief Minister’s Public Service Campaign, which started from May 10, 19 lakh 27 thousand have been approved. Out of the total applications received, more than 76 percent applications have been approved. The disposal of applications is 90 to 97 percent in Shajapur, Ratlam, Neemuch, Dewas and Vidisha of the state.

The Chief Minister also listened to the experiences of Shajapur, Ratlam and Khargone Collectors for their prompt work. He instructed the collectors to ensure that the applications in which the necessary documents are not attached, are also completed. By helping the applicants, their problems should be solved on priority. The progress in the campaign in the state is encouraging. May this atmosphere remain constant. Publicize the information about the camps to be organized in the village and panchayat.

During this, Chief Minister Chouhan also obtained information regarding the progress of the campaign from the MLAs present in different districts. Bahadur Singh, MLA of Ujjain district said that people’s work is getting done quickly after the campaign started. Approval letters and necessary certificates will be distributed to the citizens even by going door-to-door. Mandsaur MLA Yashpal Singh said that common citizens are getting relief from the public service campaign.

Other instructions of the Chief Minister

Along with the Collector, the Superintendent of Police should also resolve the complaints of the public on priority. Prompt action should be taken on the complaints lodged by the general public in the police stations.

Illegal activities of extracting sand from Ramda and other rivers should be curbed. Strict action should be taken against those involved in this crime.

– Minister in-charge, administrative officer and social worker hold joint meeting and discuss and get feedback regarding redressal of public problems.

There should be no delay in payment of the amount after the grains procured from the farmers.

From coming June 21, pilgrimage by aeroplanes is starting. Necessary information should be given to benefit the public from the pilgrimage scheme.

Implementation of Chief Minister Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojana is going well. Administrative officers deserve congratulations. Necessary facilities should be provided to the beneficiaries on time.
