Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected the forward command post of one of the formations of the Vostok Troop Group heading towards Zaporizhzhia. The minister heard reports from the commander of the Vostok group and headquarters officers on the current situation, reports the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The head of the military department was informed about the nature of the enemy’s actions and the performance of Russian troops in combat missions in the main directions. Shoigu held a meeting with the commander at the troop group headquarters. He noted the high efficiency in identifying and destroying enemy equipment and concentrations of personnel.
The commander and commanders were instructed to continue to actively conduct integrated reconnaissance in order to reveal enemy plans in advance and prevent their implementation.
