UAE condemns storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

In a statement, the UAE Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the firm position of the UAE on the need to provide full protection to Al-Aqsa Mosque and to end serious and provocative violations there.

The ministry called on the Israeli authorities to stop the escalation and not to take measures to exacerbate tensions and instability in the region, stressing the UAE’s rejection of all practices that violate resolutions of international legitimacy. and threaten further escalation.

The ministry stressed the importance of supporting all regional and international efforts to advance the Middle East peace process, as well as ending illegal practices that threaten to achieve a two-state solution and establish a Independent Palestinian state on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
