The first flight of this service will leave from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport for Guwahati at 1755 hrs. Akasa Air will connect Kolkata with Bengaluru and Guwahati with daily non-stop flights from May 18, 2023. Passengers will also have the additional option of traveling from Bengaluru to Guwahati on a daily basis via Kolkata. For this, passengers will be provided seamless connection without changing aircraft.
The flight service starting from Kolkata will be Akasa Air’s second destination in West Bengal after Bagdogra. With its launch, the inter-state connectivity for the city will be further strengthened.
